Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.
Ex two-time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I plan to injure his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to seriously aim to hurt him. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
Despite such comments, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically recognized for his theatrics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK rival Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, regularly earning huge paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a knockout win in round four or five and asserted he would stop the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently in the works for 2026.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters engaged in the traditional confrontation, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it drove home just how unlikely this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the bout is truly proceeding.
